HIGHBURY Prep School is proud to announce that its pupils were awarded podium positions in various recent sporting activities.

Grade 3 pupil Joshua Paton, was awarded a silver medal in his weight division in the SA Schools Judo Championships which took place in Johannesburg on 3 October. This is an incredible achievement as he has only been participating in the sport for two years.

Two Grade 3 pupils, Luca Borrageiro and Sean Mayoss, excelled in soccer this season and have been chosen for the Pinetown and Districts Soccer League team.

At the recent Speedo KZN Junior Winter Championships Gala, held from 26 to 27 September, three Grade 3 Highbury boys - Lukas Smithers, Luca Borrageiro and Josh Paton - competed as part of the nine-and-under 200m mixed medley relay team, representing the Aquazone Swim Club. They placed second and received a silver medal.

The school congratulates the pupils on their achievements.
