2015-07-21 06:00

A HIGHWAY pastor Phumokwakhe Ndlovu (41), from the Full Gospel in KwaNdengezi, near the Upper Highway area was killed last week.

Ndlovu was shot and killed by unknown men outside his home on his return from work on the evening of Monday.

MEC for transport, community safety and liaison Willis Mchunu urged law enforcement agencies to do everything to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

“In our on-going endeavours to eradicate the scourge of crime in our province, we are very disturbed by the senseless, inhumane and ghastly murder of our people. “The murder of Pastor Ndlovu is strongly condemned and we shall monitor the case until arrests and convictions are secured.”

Mchunu asked that anyone who has information about the murder to report it to the police.

“I appeal to anyone who has information to assist the police by coming forward with information so the suspects can be brought to justice. I hav, however, been informed that police are working tirelessly on the matter to arrest the culprits,” said Mchunu. - Supplied
