THE Kloof and Highway SPCA team visited Jean’s Playglen in Hillcrest recently. The children had been collecting food for the animals in the SPCA’s care and were treated to an interactive educational puppet show.

The Kloof and Highway SPCA believes that education is fundamental in teaching children to respect and care for animals. The children enjoyed meeting the characters and telling the SPCA all about their pets at home.

SPCA’s Lisa Gadd thanked Jean’s Playglen for a wonderful morning and for the food and treats they collected for the animals. To register for the Pet-Pals programme or puppet show, to make a booking for a school group to visit the Kloof and Highway SPCA or for the SPCA education team to visit your school, e-mail marketing@kloofspca.co.za or call 031 764 1212/3 and speak to an SPCA education officer. - Supplied.
