THE Atrium Coffee House is in the new Atrium Lifestyle Centre along Old Main Road in Gillitts, owned by Barry and Debra Bray.

We are an artisanal family-run coffee house where we believe in a great-food-and-great-coffee experience. All our meals are freshly prepared on-site to order by our chef Barry.

We believe in ‘slow food’, which is our antidote to the fast paced, fast-food world we live in.

At the Atrium Coffee House we invite you to enjoy your coffee and your food and to connect with the people around your table in great conversation. With this vision in mind we offer Colombo coffees made by our trained barista.

Colombo Coffee is offered as both retail and for use in our Coffee House. We also retail an indigenous coffee - the Racemosa bean, lovingly grown and supplied by Sukkot Coffees from Hluhluwe in South Africa.

Indigenous Racemosa is naturally low in caffeine as well as being endemic to Maputaland which is a narrow coastal belt north of Lake St Lucia and Mozambique.

Our sourdough breads are baked on-site using our own sourdough starter and our cheese cakes are homemade daily using our own cream cheese made onsite, with flavours such as a lavender or blackberry.

Artisanal cheeses and jams are created on-site to accompany our famous scones, jumbo muffins and all-day open omelettes. Treats such as an orange marmalade cake and a fresh plum torte are regularly on offer as are our plum or lavender lattes, and we make our own syrups.
If you are looking to purchase fresh sourdough loaves, both rye and rustic white, then contact us on 082 896 3206 and place your order - our rustic loaves have the taste and texture of Italy.

We look forward to seeing you at 10 Old Main Road, Gillitts. We are open Monday 11am to 4pm, Tuesday to Friday, 7.30am to 4pm and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm.
