INTERNATIONALLY-RENOWNED saxophonist, Andrew Young, returns to Hillcrest for a Valentine’s concert

for lovers of great music. Accompanied by local KZN musicians Young will perform versions of his hits including Reminiscing and Last Time We Said Goodbye,Desperado, Hey Jude and Baker Street.

Born in Liverpool Young studied clarinet and saxophone from the age of eight. Now an internationally renowned recording and performing artist, he has performed for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles at the Royal Festival Hall, worked with Dionne Warwick, Gino Vanelli, Shirley Bassey, Jonathan Butler, and Sir James Galway.

In 2015 he performed with José Feliciano in Vienna.

Hailed as “The Prince of the Saxophone”, you can look forward to a performance of music fired by the energy of one of the most complete sax players on the scene today. Bring your food and drinks for an enjoyable Valentine’s evening.

Concert is at Hillcrest High School on 13 February at 7.30pm, doors open at 7pm. Tickets R150. Concert is approximately 1:45 minutes long.
