NETCARE 911 paramedics were called to a different accident in the Assagay area on Tuesday evening.

According to paramedics, two farm workers were walking along Lello Road in Assagay when a tractor that was parked on the side of the road started to run away.

“The females did not notice it until the tractor hit them, one woman fell clear of the tractor, but the other one fell and the wheels went over her,” said Chris Botha.

“Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that one of the women had sustained serious injuries while the other escaped with minor injuries.”

After medics stabilised the injured at the scene they transported them to a Chatsworth hospital. - Supplied.
