GROWING up, Durban musician and entertainer Mcebiseni Caiphus Mtshali always dreamt of being on stage in the limelight and entertaining crowds.

Today at 25 years old, he is living his dream and has been nominated for the Live Your Dreams Awards hosted by EzaseDurban.

EzaseDurban KZN Media Productions is a young, vibrant, fully black-owned Film and Television Production Company.

Known to his fans as King B MCE, he said that his passion for entertainment started while he was in school.

“I used to write poems with my friends and from there it progressed into a love for entertainment. I love hip-hop music and I am a solo artist,” he said.

King B MCE said that he is inspired by listening to people like Prokid and Zakwe.

“They are SA hip hop stars and Zola who is a Kwaito Star also my brother who is a Poet, Mco-the-poet.” Describing himself as passionate, he said he loves giving back to his community and always encourages the youth to follow their dreams.

“My aim is to show the youth that they can be anything they want to be if they put their mind it. I often organise music shows for the youth so they can showcase their talent as well.”

Speaking about his nomination, King B MCE said that he feels honored to be nominated and it has motivated him to do more in his career.

“I urge the community to vote for me because I am constantly using my talent to give back to my community. I also want to be a good role model to other youth artists from the provinces, I want to be someone they can be proud of and look up to.”

He said that he wants to thank his family, friends as well as fans who supports him and gives him hope about his music.
