THE Grade 2 pupils at St Benedict School have spent the fourth term learning about money.

“In order to put their new skills to the test they held a Market Day.

“Each pupil had to make and sell items to the rest of the school, give the correct change and then calculate their expenses and profits at the end of the day.

“Everything from candy floss, samoosas and cupcakes to bookmarks, magnets and Christmas decorations were on sale.

“The morning was a huge success and was enjoyed by everyone who participated,” said St Benedict School’s marketing manager Shareen Gould.
