NETCARE 911 paramedics responded to a collision along Stockville Road in Kloof, on Wednesday. According to paramedics, a child was hit by a delivery vehicle while trying to cross the road.

“The Netcare Emergency Care Practitioner and his team arrived found the six-year-old-boy lying on the road with life-threatening injuries. The boy was placed on a ventilator and immobilised on a trauma board, before they transported him to a specialised hospital in Durban,” said Chris Botha Netcare 911 media liaison officer. - Supplied.
