CHRISTMAS shopping with a conscience is becoming increasingly popular as South Africans look to give a gift to their loved ones, while assisting those in need.

It’s for this reason that the 2017 Reflections of Africa wildlife calendar in support of Crow makes the perfect Christmas gift, at the same time helping vulnerable wild animals.

“By purchasing an Under an African Sky A2, wall calendar or a CD size desk calendar, for R180 and R60 respectively, you are assisting Crow with the rescue, rehabilitation and release of orphaned and injured wild animals,” says Debbie Cameron, who has stocked the calendar for three years.

“Not only is it a beautiful product for my patients and suppliers to buy, it also supports shopping with a conscience.’’

Under an African Sky is an initiative of Compass Medical Waste Services, and over the past eight years, the volunteer organisation has raised R1.3 million for animal welfare, with R915 000 of this benefitting Crow.

The calendar is available from Debbie Cameron Physiotherapy in Hillcrest Old Main Road, The Juice Kitchen in Lillies Quarter, Brigit Filmer Spa & Skin, The Hillcrest Kwikspar, Waterfall Superspar, Knowles Spar, Westville Superspar, Eastman’s Superspar and Glenore Kwikspar.
