THE Hillcrest Sizakala Centre conducted an awareness drive to inform customers of a new service: they can now purchase electricity tokens and cards at the centre.

Bongi Miya, supervisor at the Sizakala Centre said that the purpose of the day was to educate consumers about the new service available but to also remind people of the One Stop Shop available for any queries that customers may have.

Miya added that different departments were present on the day to exhibit their services.

“We had Sizakala in Molweni, Hillcrest Library, E careers (HR), IEC, Nedbank, Keep Hillcrest beautiful and Enforce Security.”

They educated the community and the IEC registered the community for voting and conducted voter education, Enforce spoke about crime awareness and prevention. Overall, it was a very successful blitz.”

Hillcrest Sizakala is based at 22 Delamore Road Hillcrest. Open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm and first and last Saturday of the month from 7.30am to 11.30 am.
