WHETHER you love the ragtime tunes of Scott Joplin, French Café classics, or a tango or two, there will be something to delight the ear when pianist Christopher Duigan takes the stage with the Gypsy Strings Quartet at St Agnes Church, Kloof, at 7.30pm on Thursday, 24 November.

The festive year-end concert, titled Eine Kleine “Pop” Musik, features Ralitza Macheva, leader of the Baroque 2000 concerts on violin, Ralitsa Pechoux on cello and Annamaria D’Andrea on viola.

The programme includes the classical melodies, Eine Kleine Nachtmuzik by Mozart, Strauss’s The Blue Danube Waltz and Radetsky March and a mix of ragtime tunes by Scott Joplin, French Café classics and tangos including Por una cabeza.
