THE Keep Hillcrest Beautiful Association held a successful Bowls Day recently. The day was the brainchild of Warren Ozard, and Barbara and Daryll Fourie recently.

Local businesses and individuals in Hillcrest sponsored over 80 prizes for the participants.

Marge Mitchell, chairperson of the KHBA, thanked Derek Motto-Ros, chairman of the Bowling Club, for granting the entire entry fee to the association.

She also thanked Keith Sanderson, trustee of the William Gillitt Sports Ground Trust, who has enrolled the trust as a member of the Keep Hillcrest Beautiful Association.

He said that both the trust and Keep Hillcrest Beautiful Association serve the community and the trust is proud to be a member of the association.
