NOVEMBER is the “grow a mo and save a bro”, slogan to live by this month and the Movember Foundation South Africa is calling on all “mo bros and mo sistas” to join the cause.

According to the foundation, all men and women can participate.

While men grow a beard to raise awareness, women or “mo sistas” are there to initiate conversations and raise awareness about prostate and testicular cancer. Women can encourage men to sign up and participate in raising funds. Most importantly, mo sistas are there to provide love and support for everyone they know who is part of the fight for men’s health.
Local Durban celebrities and Movember ambassadors joined the shave-off ahead of Movember in Hillcrest at Gerald Wells’ Barber Shop last week.
