BUSINESS owners and representatives from the Upper Highway area recently visited Hirsch’s Hillcrest for their monthly business networking morning to network and mingle with like-minded individuals recently.

Guest speaker, Debbie Porter, Associate Financial Adviser from Discovery South Africa, spoke on the subject “Protect your well-being and your wallet with Discovery Insure” and attendees were given insight into the core values of Discovery as well as Porter’s personal message of strength and passion.

“Some people say I have attitude – maybe I do. You have to believe in yourself when no one else does that makes you a winner right there. If you want to stand out, don’t be different, be outstanding.”

Jonathan Brauteseth Hirsch’s PRO said: “The reason local businesses thrive in the Upper Highway area is because of word of mouth and networking with like-minded individuals to expand their network, this is crucial in order to get noticed.”
