HILLCREST High played cricket against Kingsway recently, claiming wins for all their teams.
On home ground, the 1st team had a convincing 114 run victory with star performance by Nipho Methula scoring 57 with the bat and claiming 6/18 with the ball. Nikolai Klewinghaus assisted by taking 3/23.
Terryck Hepburn contributed 40 runs to Hillcrest's total of 195 all out. Hillcrest U15's scored 201 all out with Ronan White 66 and Ross Blackbeard 37. Kingsway were bowled out for 156 with all the bowlers contributing towards wickets and Hillcrest High won by 45 runs. The U14's, played at Kingsway, and bowled Kingsway out for 63, with Mnqobi Madlala and Jordan Nielsen claiming 3 wickets each. Hillcrest High went on to win the game by 4 wickets. - Supplied.
