AN avid reader Mpendulo Dlamini who is a Grade 6 pupil at John Wesley School won the reading prize at the Annual Prize Giving Ceremony at the end of 2015.

John Wesley spokesperson Lilian Corden-Lloyd said: “Mpendulo developed a love for reading at a very young age and he and his two younger siblings are encouraged to read as much as possible.
“In fact the Dlamini family hardly ever watch television at home as they choose to read books instead. Mpendulo added that books allow him to dream, they take him to places unseen and have improved his language and spelling skills. Mpendulo’s family recently donated a dozen books to the John Wesley School Library.”
