WATERFALL resident Debbie Densham and her NPO. Debbie Aird Care Project, helped a little girl start school on a happy note with new stationery and clothes.

Densham said the girl’s father only has a temporary job and a week before school opened he told them he has no money for uniforms and stationery for her.

“Thanks to our amazing donors we were able to buy this little girl her first uniform and send her to school looking adorable,” she said.

“Her father was over the moon and couldn’t thank us enough. She gave us a big hug and that was all the thanks we needed.”

Densham said its happy endings like these that make her continue with her voluntary community work.

The Debbie Aird Care Project was a dream she has had since a child.

“From a young age it’s always been my dream to make a difference and help someone in need, to change someone’s life for the better, and maybe make it a bit easier.

“I also welcome support from businesses or individuals who want to give back to those in need. Any assistance - be it cash or kind - will be greatly appreciated,” she added.
“We would love to do as much as we can.”

If anyone would like to assist the project email debbie@dairdphoto.com.
