One nabbed for house break-in

A 28-old-man was arrested subsequent to him breaking into a police man’s home in KwaNgcolosi Reserve in Hillcrest last week.

According to Hillcrest SAPS communications officer constable N Manqele, it is alleged that the police man was on duty working the night shift and when he returned home after his shift he found his house broken into and the entertainment unit valued at R26500 was stolen.

“A case of house break-in and theft was reported to Hillcrest police for further investigation.
“The police man followed up the information which resulted in the stolen items being recovered found and the man responsible for the crime being arrested,” he said.

The man will be charged and he will appear in Pinetown Magistrate’s Court tomorrow soon.
