Road closures for Amashova

THE Tsogo Sun Amashova Durban Classic, KZN’s safest cycle event, is back again on 16 October bringing thousands of cyclists and visitors to the city.
For safety reasons the Durban Metro and KZN traffic authorities will close the roads to motorists for a limited time only on race day to ensure the safety of the cyclists and motorists on the route during the event.
The following roads will be closed:

Chief Albert Luthuli Street Alexandra Road 4am-9.30am
Alexandra Road - Umlaas Road 5am-12pm
Umlaas Road - R103 Inchanga/1000 Hills 4.30am-12.30pm
103 Inchanga - Botha’s Hill Butchery 4am-2pm
R103 Patna Road - Kassier Road-M13 on-ramp 4am-2pm
M13 Hillcrest - M13 Westville 4am-3pm
M13 Westville - M13 45th Cutting 4am-3pm
N3 Outbound - Monty Naiker Street 5am-3.15pm
Monty Naiker Street (Pine Street) 4am-3.45pm
Masabalala Yengwa Avenue (south-bound) 4am-4pm
