ST Benedict School in Pinetown recently held their annual Unity Day.

School spokesperson Shareen Gould said Friday is the day when the everyday demands of school are put aside for a few hours and time is spent getting to know people in the school better. "This year the school is celebrating its 60th anniversary so the theme of the day was “Celebrations” and much fun was had.

“The day started and ended with a service in the chapel garden and the time in between was spent fostering closer relationships.

"Every high school class was assigned a primary school class and they planned a number of activities, including water games, treasure hunts, cupcake decorating, face painting, and more. The day was a huge success and cemented the family ethos of the school." - Supplied.
