A RECENT intelligence driven operation between Pinetown Crime Intelligence, Pinetown Crime Prevention, and Imvula Security resulted in the arrest of two suspects aged between 34 and 53 for possession of suspected stolen property.
The members received information about a van that was transporting copper to a scrap metal dealer in New Germany. The members staked out the dealership and when the van approached the members stopped it and found 36 bags of Telkom copper. The suspects were arrested and charged for possession of suspected stolen property. The street value of the copper is estimated at R44 000.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Pinetown Magistrate’s Court soon. - Supplied.
