André the hilarious hypnotist is back at The Boardwalk

ANDRÉ the Hilarious Hypnotist is back at The Boardwalk at the end of July to enthral local fans with his fast-witted humour and boggling tricks of the mind. He takes to the stage at The Boardwalk Amphitheatre from July 29 to August 1.

For the past 21 years André held his audience spellbound with his dry wit, his spectacular sense of humour and his ability to get members of the public to do various strange weird and incredibly entertaining routines on stage.

His previous shows at The Boardwalk have been sell-out successes.

“André is renowned for presenting unforgettable, highly-interactive performances that leave his audiences flitting between fits of laughter and gasping in absolute amazement as ordinary volunteers drop deep into a hypnotic trance and lose all inhibitions with just a click of his fingers.

“His shows are for the whole family, and even if you have seen him before, you are assured of seeing something entirely new every time. We can’t wait for his shows at the end of July,” says Vuyiswa King, the Entertainment and Events Manager at The Boardwalk

André, who has presented his explosively funny hypnosis show at more than 4 500 live performances and hypnotized well over 30000 people, hurls the age-old art form of hypnosis kicking and screaming into the 21st century with supersonic hypnotic speed and outrageously funny sketches.

Trained by the legendary Max Collie and having set attendance records at nearly all theatres in South Africa, André is yet to show signs of slowing down. Now officially 100kg lighter, André has found a new “spring in his step” and he describes the new him as being young, thin and funny.

Tickets to his shows at The Boardwalk cost R80 per person and are available through Computicket. Tickets will also be on sale at the door before the shows start at 19:00
