THE Billabong Junior Series is set to take place at Magna Tubes in Jeffreys Bay from July 13 - 17.

This three day event with a five day waiting period, is a new edition to the JBay Winterfest taking place from July 8 - 19 and will see the top surfers from Jeffreys Bay join the best juniors in the country.

The contest director will choose the best three days out of the waiting period to run the contest to completion.

The Billabong Junior Series presented by BOS is the most prestigious and longest-running junior series in the world.

The series started in 1997, and has already hosted 51 individual events over its illustrious history. There are seven divisions for 2015, and competitors are allowed to enter a maximum of 2 divisions.

The divisions are:

. U.12 Boys – 1A PST Rated

. U.14 Boys and u.14 Girls – 2A PST Rated

. U.16 Boys and u.16 Girls – 2A PST Rated

U.20 Boys and u.20 Girls – WSL 1000 Pro Junior Rated
