THE Storms River Police are offering a reward of up to R10 00 for information which may lead to the arrest and successful prosecution of the suspect or suspects involved with the murder of Corrie Claase (70).

According to police spokesperson W.O. Gerda Swart, Claase was found with stab wounds to his chest on his smallholding at Robbehoek in the early hours of February 28.

“The elderly couple was surprised by an intruder at approximately 05:00. The wife ran to the neighbours for help, while her husband stayed in their bedroom,” says Swart.

“Upon her return she discovered her husband’s body.”

The police are appealing to the public to assist them with any information that may lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.

Anyone with information, can contact the Storms River SAPS at 042 281 1616 or the investigating officer D.W. O. Linda Kok at 082 441 7734.
