AFTER hosting a very successful Business League at the beginning of this year, the Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club started their second Business League on October 10.

The initial league, at the beginning of the year, saw 16 local businesses battling it out over six weeks, with Moore Stephens ending up as eventual winners.

“So successful was this competition that the bowls club installed extra flood lights on a second green to cope with the enthusiasm of the businesses in the area,” says Keith Wakelin. “Many businesses and club members made a donation to make the new lights possible and the club it very appreciative.”

This time 24 businesses are competing over six weeks, and to top it all, the club still has another eight businesses on the waiting list.

The club welcomes spectators to the event, which starts at 18:00 on the six consecutive Tuesdays until November 14.

For more information, contact Keith Wakelin at 082 4605 425.
