Cross gets new lease of life

2016-02-25 06:00

KEEPING silently watch over Jeffreys Bay and its residents, the cross standing proudly on the hill as motorists enter from Kabeljauws, recently received a new lease of life.

The cross was erected six years ago by members of Men@6 - a non-denominational group of men from Jeffreys Bay. They meet every Wednesday at 06:00 to worship and pray for the town, region and country.

“It is our hope that when residents and vi-sitors enter our town, they must experience God’s presence and know that in this town God is King,” says Scotty Scott from Men@6.

The re-launch of the cross will take place at 09:00 on Saturday, February 27.

Everyone is welcome to attend the re-launch.
