FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

The Friends of the Library book store, The Book End, at the Newton Hall is open from 09:00 to 12:00 every Tuesday and Friday, as well as every last Saturday of the month. Hard cover fiction books are on sale for R5 each. All funds are used to buy new books for the Jeffreys Bay Library.

BEGINNERS’ LINE DANCE CLASSES

Beginners’ Line Dance classes take place at the Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club on Wednesdays and Fridays from 08:30 to 09:30. For info, contact Ina Ferreira at 082 700 6988.

HAPPY FEET LYNDANS

Happy Feet Lyndans hou lyndansklasse vir beginners op Maandae vanaf 14:00 tot 15:00 by die Rolbalklub in Jeffreysbaai. Die koste is R15 per klas. Skakel Marie Louw by 083 425 0724.

INA’S TWINKLE TOES

Ina’s Twinkle Toes Linedance classes for beginners take place at 43 Palm Crescent on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:30 to 17:30 and at the Bowling Club in Jeffreys Bay from 08:30 to 09:30 on Wednesdays and Fridays. Improver/intermediate classes takes place at the Jeffreys Bay Bowling Club from 09:30 to 10:30 on Wednesdays and Fridays. Contact Ina Ferreira at 082 700 6988.

JBAY GOLF CLUB

The Jeffreys Bay Golf Club will host their Chicken Run Golf Day from 07:00 to 15:00 every Friday. Players pay for nine holes, and get nine free. Rotisserie chicken vouchers from Woolworths are up for grabs. The green fees are R40. Contact Len at 042 293 2532.

EB FLO

The Eb Flo Flower Club will meet at Seashells in Da Gama Street at 09:30 on April 19. Cookie Kitson will do a demonstration. Visitors are welcome at R20. Refreshments are included. Contact Emblem at 083 632 4807.

KUNS- EN BLOMMEKLUB

BEACH WALKS

Beach Walks take place from the Main Beach in front of the dolphin statue to either Walskipper or Checkers beach and back at 08:00 every Saturday, weather permitting. Everyone is welcome. Contact Margot at 084 643 5379 to see if they are walking.
