THE local Volkswagen dealer in Jeffreys Bay, Dirk Ellis, scooped two distinguished awards - pro-ving once again they are indeed number one in their respective industry.

The iconic Johannesburg autumn skyline provided the perfect backdrop for the Volkswagen Grand Prix Awards held at the Theatre on the Track in Kya-lami last week.

The Grand Prix Awards, themed Ignite the power, recognise and reward outstanding service within the Volkswagen South Africa Dealer Network.

On the night, Dirk Ellis Junior and Dirk Ellis Volkswagen ended in pole position, bagging two of the prestigious awards. Ellis Junior was crowned Best New Vehicle Sales Manager in his category in South Africa and the local Volkswagen dealer in Jeffreys Bay was once again awarded Club of Excellence status – one of only 13 of the 106 Volkswagen dealers in South Africa to do so.

Club of Excellence membership is exclusively awarded to those Volkswagen dealers that excel in vehicle sales, Volkswagen South Africa’s dealer standards, customer satisfaction and parts delivery.

Membership qualification for the Club of Excellence is reviewed annually.

It’s not the first time that Dirk Ellis Junior has won this award. The story behind his numerous awards is simple, “I strive to always provide excellent service and the best quality vehicles,” says Ellis Junior.

Another man who has several awards behind his name, is Dealer Principal Jacques Herselman. Asked why Dirk Ellis Volkswagen is so successful, Herselman had the following to say, “Our first priority is to build strong relationships with our customers. Therefore, we always endeavour to exceed our custo-mers’ expectations.” Herselman elaborates, “Each member of staff has an important function within the dealership; our staff has pride in what they do and our customers notice this.”

Over the years the Dirk Ellis brand has become synonymous with service excellence in the Eastern Cape and the greater South African automotive industry. They believe that people are at the heart of everything they do. As the seller of people’s cars, they are passionate about South Africans.

If you are looking at purchasing a new Volkswagen or MasterCar, make a pit stop at Dirk Ellis Volkswagen and experience why they are rated number one.
