JBRA to host potjiekos competition

2016-02-25 06:00

THE Jeffreys Bay Ratepayers Association (JBRA) will hold their inaugural Potjiekos Competition - which is hoped to become an annual event - at the Supertubes Surfing Foundation Park from 10:00 to 16:00 on February 27.

Avid cooks can enter either as individuals or as a team. The entry fee is R20 per individual or team.

Residents can enjoy the day and sample the potjies at R20 a plate, as well as discuss town-related problems with the JBRA committee.

The competition is in aid of the local National Sea Rescue Institute in Jeffreys Bay and the JBRA.

Great prizes, as well as a floating trophy for the winner, will be up for grabs.
