Kouga power cut moved

2016-06-30 06:00

ESKOM has postponed its power shutdown to Kouga from June 26 to this coming Sunday, July 3.

The electricity supply to the whole of the Kouga region will be interrupted from 05:00 to 19:00.

The shutdown was requested by Eskom for work they need to do on the electrical system in the area.

In order to minimise the inconvenience to residents, Kouga Municipality will also make use of the shutdown to do planned maintenance work on the municipal system.

Residents are reminded to treat all electrical appliances as live during the down period.

The shutdown is subject to the weather. In the event of inclement weather the shutdown will be postponed to the following Sunday, July 17.
