ON behalf of the Kouga Council, Kouga Executive Mayor Daphne Kettledas welcomes all visitors to Jeffreys Bay and surrounding towns this Festive Season.

“With its beautiful beaches and biodiverse interior, Kouga is heaven for lovers of the outdoors. Add to that a tempting variety of shops and markets, great food, live music and dancing till the early hours.” It comes as no surprise that Kouga is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa,” says Kettledas.

“We are pleased that you have chosen to spend your holiday here and trust that your visit will exceed all expectations.”

According to her, a special word of thanks goes to everyone who will be working this holiday to keep residents and visitors safe. “We salute our emergency services, traffic and law enforcement officers, police, lifeguards, the NSRI and all related services. Let us give them our full cooperation so that everyone arrives alive at their destinations.

“We would further like to wish all our Christian residents and visitors a joyful Christmas. May you be surrounded by loved ones, and may the spirit of goodwill inspire you to reach out to those less fortunate as well. A blessed Festive Season and prosperous New Year to all. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2016.”
