NO RDP houses have been built in Kouga for the past 11 year.

This sad trend was recently broken at Kruisfontein where environmental approval has been granted for the building of 391 houses. Internal services have been installed, the first foundations have been cast and top structures are taking shape.

Council has further accelerated the upgrade of the Kruisfontein Waste Water Treatment Works so as to put in place the capacity required for more than 2000 additional RDP houses in the area.

Similar success has been achieved at Pellsrus, Jeffreys Bay, where 220 RDP houses are to be built. Internal services have been installed and the casting of foundations has commenced.
