Oudpolisielid wat huishulp ‘verkrag’ mag in huis bly

VAN die borgtogvoorwaardes van ’n gewese polisiebeampte wat van die beweerde verkragting van ’n huishulp verdink word, is in die landdroshof in Humansdorp gelig.

Die voorval het na bewering verlede maand by die man (59) se huis in Astonbaai gebeur.

Borgtog van R1 000 is by sy vorige hofverskyning toegestaan aan die man, wat nog nie gevra is om te pleit nie. Sy regsverteenwoordiger het Maandag met sy jongste verskyning gevra dat sekere borgtogvoorwaardes gelig moet word.

Die hof het op 10 Oktober gelas dat die man nie met sy vrou in aanraking kom nie, aange-sien sy ’n getuie is.

Hy moet op 16 Januarie weer in die hof verskyn. – Anthony Augustus
