A local resident is threatening to blow up Jeffreys Bay.

According to a Jeffreys Bay resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, the alleged bomber stated in a voice message that he is in the process of getting his TNT together. The message continues to say that “I will let you know when to leave town. I am going to blow this f****** place to pieces. F*** Jeffreys Bay and f*** all its residents.”

A case has been opened by the Jeffreys Bay Police Station.

According to police spokesperson. Lt Gerda Swart, members of the Jeffreys Bay Police Station are investigating the case. “Detectives are following up on all leads,” says Swart. “The South African Police Service view all bomb threats in a very serious light.”

No names can be published before an arrest has been effected and the suspect has appeared in court. No arrests have been made as yet.
