LET your hair down and get your rocking groove on at the first ever Swell Festival at Work Rockin’ Sports Bar at Magna Tubes in Da Gama Road, Jeffreys Bay, at 20:00 from Friday until July 22.

Top musicians from all over the country will take to the stage at #dropitlikeitsrock.

A mix of progressive rock, blues, jazz and crazy all thrown together in a melting pot of colour will follow after Robot will kick off the festivities on July 14. The Dandies - a high energy, two piece band providing powerful guitar riffs and diverse beats - will join them on the stage.

On July 15 The Moths, a funky and progressive psychedelic surf rock band, will set a wave-inducing, surfer rock atmosphere; while Port Elizabeth surf band Skeleton Coast will end the night on a high note.

Can of Worms, a six-piece East London band, will bring an end to the rocking festivities with their tribal to rock and anything in between music.

The entry fee is R50 per person.
