SFPC Shark Point Doubles Challenge set to thrill

THE inaugural St Francis Paddling Club (SFPC) Shark Point Doubles Challenge is set to take place at St Francis Bay on February 27.

The 17km race will paddle off from and fi-nish at Quasyde with an out-and-back to the iconic Shark Point just to the east of Cape St Francis.

For those a bit less adventurous and not wanting to go out to sea, there will be a 8km to 10km race on the Krom River and canals.

This event is set to become an annual race hosted by the SFPC.
