Cape St Francis Lighthouse

Seal Point Lighthouse is situated approximately 30km from Humansdorp and 100km from Port Elizabeth - marking the most Southeastern tip of Africa. It is home to the tallest masonry building - standing 27.75m high. The focal plane is 36m above sea level and the light has a range of 28 sea miles. Joseph Flack, a Civil Engineer and Architect was instrumental in constructing this majestic building. Also look out for the Expedition Africa landmark.

Visit SANCCOB

Visit the penguin rehabilitation centre at Seal Point Lighthouse. The centre has grown in stature over the last year, with their penguin release success rate climbing to as high as 96%. Unfortunately the number of stranded sea birds has escalated. There is an entrance fee and all donations are welcome.

Golfing

Book a round of golf at the world-renowned St Francis Links which was recently rated as the number 9 golf course in South Africa. A well-equipped pro shop should take care of any golfing needs that guests may have. Clubs are for hire. The course is well-manicured and ensures a pleasurable golfing experience.

Picnic at Sunset Rock

Pack a picnic and watch an unforgettable sunset at Wildside.
