Ball and bhangra set for July

THE Gay and Lesbian Network will be host a Winter Queens Ball and Bhangra on Saturday, July 1.

The event will take place at the Eddels Sports and Social Club at 74 Dartnell Road, Mountain Rise at 6.30pm.

There will be performances by the Queen of Queens, Muzi Zuma (Ms Drag SA finalists 2017), Jaziel and Vaughaan. DJ Sly will be in the house and the MC for the evening will be Keandré Brahim (Mr Pink Mynah 2016).

There will be prizes for best dressed and stand a chance of winning great prizes with the lucky draws.

Entrance is R70 or R60 if you come dressed to the theme of winter or bhangra.

The event is hosted by the Gay & Lesbian Network and is a fund-raising event to make safe spaces available throughout the northern areas of Pietermaritzburg.
