KICKOFF.COM has learnt that
Banyana Banyana will travel with Bafana Bafana to Cameroon for a friendly international against their women’s national team.

Bafana take on Cameroon on Saturday, 26 March in the 2017 African Nations Cup qualifiers and Banyana have lined up a friendly against the Cameroon women’s team the following day in preparation for the Olympics finals in Brazil.

According to a source inside Safa House, the soccer governing body and Cameroon are working out few details before confirming the friendly international.

Banyana Banyana qualified for the Olympics for the second consecutive time following the 2012 London Olympics.

While the South Africa U23 team will be in Brazil for a friendly, Safa saw it necessary to organise a friendly for the senior women’s
national team.

The draw for the Olympics football tournament will be held on 14 April.
