THE spelling bug bit our school this term.

The spelling virus spread throughout the school creating a buzz in our senior grades.

Like bees to a honey pot, the spelling lists were devoured. Knowledge of spelling rules, meaning of words and vocabulary increased as the lists were poured over.

An internal Spelling Bee competition was held to select a team to represent the school at the annual Pietermaritzburg Inter-Schools Spelling Bee, hosted by Athlone Primary. - Supplied.
