COMMERCIAL Panel Beaters has now extended to four properties after renting out a further two properties in Zederberg Street, which runs parallel to Greyling Street.

It now has the most modern and up-to-date technology and equipment for painting and repairing cars.

It also has a number of factory warranty approvals including VW, Audi, Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Chevrolet, Opel, Jeep, Dodge, Fiat, Alpha Romeo, Renault and Chrysler. They deal with all major insurance panels and depending on the size and length of the job, have courtesy cars for their customers to minimise the inconvenience of not having a car during the repairs.

“Unique to Commercial Panel Beaters is our own customised software designed in accordance with the OEM repair specification, which monitors the progress of each vehicle, holding all technicians and workshop managers accountable. The software provides us with on-the-hour updates for all customers throughout the repair process,” said Marc Augustus, managing director of Commercial Panel Beaters.

Marc said that the focus of the store is customer care and service.

“It’s important that our customers are receiving excellent service. We are committed to trying our best to ensure that every customer walks away happy,” he said.

With a current staff complement of 45, the workers are one big family, each with a dedication to the job and the business. The Augustus family is also dedicated to educating their employees and runs a three- to four-year apprentice training programme through Merseta.

“Our current spray painter qualified with us through this programme,” said Marc.

The upgrade of the store began five years ago and is regarded as a continuous project as there is always room for improvement. Commercial Panel Beaters remain committed to giving back to the community and gets involved in a variety of charity work with Cansa, Hospice and Ghost Town Records.
