THE election posters bearing the face of MEC for Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube are going nowhere.

This was the stern retort given by the MEC on Friday during the debate on the department’s budget speech.

The posters have caused an outcry with people saying the colours on them match those of ANC while others have described them as a waste of public funds.

The EFF’s Vukani Ndlovu said someone needed to remind Dube-Ncube that “she is not a beauty queen”.

However, Dube-Ncube said the posters were a vital communication tool and the department will continue using them. — WR.
