HEATHER Secondary School also shone among the stars with their top pupil Chloe Rahim achieving an aggregate of 92,3%.

Chloe said her results came as such a pleasant surprise.

“I’m excited. I wasn’t expecting such positive results, especially because I found maths and physics very challenging,” said Chloe.

She wants to study chemical engineering at UKZN and admitted that the decision was one she had only made on recently.

Also from Heather Secondary Jarod Moodley, who received five distinctions, said it took hard work and sacrifice for him to make it among the top achievers.

“It’s been a tough year, I had to be apart from my friends and family a lot and sacrifice my holidays to study for the exams,” said Jarod.

School principal Daryll John said he was pleased with his pupils.

“We are so happy with the results we wish all our learners everything of the best in their different pursuits. We are especially proud of Sisekelosenkosi [Ngema] who defied incredibly hard odds and achieved outstanding results in the end.”
