THE annual middle and upper school inter-house athletics meeting was contested in very hot conditions recently.

The special guests were Mr and Mrs Becker, parents of captain and the 800m winner, Oliver Becker.

Although Conway house won eight of 16 individual trophies, the overall champion house was a tight affair with the outcome only decided after the final event of the afternoon.

Well done to Smith house who came first place.
