AFTER scouting for the best over the past three months the fifth Face of KZN Model Search Contest is on and judges are having difficulty determining who will make it to the finals.

“I have never been so stressed about selecting the person from hundreds of entries received through WhatsApp.

“Who can be the next person crowned the new ambassador for the youth of KwaZulu-Natal?” asked competition founder, Bengs Nkosi.

“We are proud that our contest does not consider beauty as one of the aspects that makes a contestant a winner. We are looking for someone unique,” he said.

The criteria used to scout contestants is that they must live in KwaZulu-Natal, must be at school, college or university or employed.

Girls who are engaged, pregnant or married are not allowed to enter.

The winner must be willing to work as a volunteer for a local NGO of their choice for a period of 12 months and be able to promote the Face of KZN Model Search Contest as a brand ambassador at events.

“If the winners break the rules, their titles will be confiscated and they will have to repay all their winnings,” said Nkosi.

Prizes to the value of R40 000 are waiting to be won.

The sponsors are Bengs Nkosi, Virgin Active, Phinduvuke Travel, Irene’s Models Agency, Cine Centre, Mo’Bella Beauty, 033 Lifestyle, 39 Degrees Photography, Midlands Computer Training Centre and Sbu’s Professional Salon.

People who are still willing to help with prizes or services, such as being a deejay, can contact Nkosi on 083 241 1291 or via email at bcanko si@gmail.com
