IF you are over 60 the Padca JLS Mile needs you.

The Padca Mile is now in its fifth year and they are looking to over-60s in the Midlands to be a part of the morning to make it an even bigger event on seniors’ calendar.

Sponsored once again by J Leslie Smith & Company Inc, the morning boasts a load of fun activities and encourages camaraderie among the seniors of Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas. There is no charge for participation, all are welcome.

The day promotes active ageing regardless of physical ability and every effort is made to ensure everyone is included.

In addition to the seven kilometre, 3.5km and one-kilometre walks around Alexandra Park, there is a tea garden, music and giant garden games.

This Padca JLS Mile will be held on the Goldstones field, Maritzburg College Princess Margaret Drive, on 3 May.

Registration starts at 8am so the walking can begin promptly at 9am.

For more information, contact Nadine on 033 345 4711, email recep tion@padca.co.za or go to our website: www.padca.co.za

Padca is a vibrant, dynamic non-profit organisation in Pietermaritzburg, a leader in senior care in the Midlands and a resource of choice for senior citizens and their families.

They support people through the ageing process, offering a continuum of services and care for seniors across the whole financial spectrum.
