Lifeline Community Store next month

2015-11-25 06:23

LIFELINE Pietermaritzburg, in partnership with Msunduzi Pietermaritzburg Tourism Association, will be running the second Lifeline Community Store on 5 December at the Botanical Gardens.

The first community store was a huge success and thus has grown in size and incorporated other aspects, including a feeding area.

This time around Lifeline will be targeting 200 orphans and vulnerable children from rural communities. These children live just above the poverty line and are in desperate need of clothing. Lifeline will be giving them food, clothing and food parcels which were donated by another local organisation.

Lifeline is appealing to the community to donate clothes for the children which can be dropped off at Lifeline offices at 14 Princess Street. Lifeline is also able to collect larger donations.

For more information or to arrange a drop-off, contact Kyle Mostert at 033 342 4447 or za - Supplied.
