THE Friends of Hospice Annual Jazz Dinner takes place on Saturday at 7pm, at the Golden Horse Casino.

This year the concert features the Melvin Peters Trio with jazz pianist Peters, Ildo Nandja on bass and Bruce Baker on drums. They will be joined by jazz saxophonist Karen Devroop and Pietermaritzburg’s Chats Devroop, who is widely acknowledged in jazz, classical and Indian music circles.

Popular South African magician Mo Magic, who recently visited Pietermaritzburg, will be emceeing and entertaining the audience with his illusions and antics.
