NETCARE St Anne’s Hospital ran a roadshow which incorporated complimentary blood-pressure screenings and health education for the public on World Heart Day last Friday.

Information was also provided on the prevention of arrhythmic cardiac events as well as getting to know your pulse. Doctors and medical personnel also spoke to the public about the dangers of smoking. Leading a healthy lifestyle, regular exercise and a well-balanced diet are also crucial factors that need to be part of one’s lifestyle.
